My Experience as Queen Mother of Development in Akatakyiwa

It warms my heart to see how these connections are not just about financial support but about building strong bridges between communities—bridges that foster understanding, compassion, and a shared commitment to improving lives.

What an incredible journey it has been serving as the Queen Mother of Development for the beautiful region of Akatakyiwa, nestled in the heart of Cape Coast, Ghana! This role has allowed me to witness firsthand the resilience and spirit of our community, as well as the profound impact that collaboration and connection can have on our development.

Recently, I had the immense privilege of connecting with our sister cities in Chattanooga, along with the generous patrons of the Lady Naps Winery, the Abraham Smiles Foundation and Connecting Strong Bridges to Africa . The support you’ve given is outstanding we are more than grateful.
This partnership has been a beacon of hope for our community, especially as we work towards enhancing the educational environment for our children. With their support, we are working diligently to complete the construction of much-needed bathrooms at our local school. Access to proper sanitation facilities is crucial for the health and well-being of our children, and I am filled with gratitude for the assistance we’ve received.
